Our whisky tastings
Discovering a whisky directly in the manufactory is always a special experience. Whether for yourself or as a gift, no matter whether lover and connoisseur, whether beginner and curious. At our tastings, we guide you through the versatile flavors of HELLINGER whiskies, reveal interesting stories about our manufactory and taste five different whiskies together - from mild to fruity, from smooth to smoky.
The HELLINGER basic equipment
Well equipped, our HELLINGER 42 whiskies can be enjoyed particularly well. With our hoodie, polo shirt, T-shirt and base cap, you'll cut a fine figure wherever you go. And together with the HELLINGER bath towel and towel you are also well equipped for the beach or the spa.
The Martin Kesici Edition
Since 2019, Martin Kesici is the singer of the band HELLINGER, which was also founded by the founder of the Dresden Whisky Manufactory, Frank Leichsenring. For him, the special edition "Martin Kesici" was issued. For this, a single-malt whisky was placed in an Ecuadorian rum barrel. The edition is limited to 262 bottles and was bottled in cask strength (54.6% vol.). Each label was signed by hand by the artist himself.
For the auction, Martin Kesici will add a personal dedication to the bottle and it can then be picked up at the visitor center of the manufactory. Photos with the artist can also be taken at this appointment.
Our FOUNDER'S EDITION
As a special highlight, the last bottle of the strictly limited edition "GRÜNDERVÄTER" is up for auction. With only 240 bottles, this edition is only available in a small edition. The GründerVäter is composed of single malts from a cognac cask, a port wine cask, a sherry cask and a smoke whiskey aged in a sherry cask. This has resulted in a particularly complex and multi-layered taste.
"The whisky is very well balanced and shows great complexity. It is particularly pleasant that the smoke flavours are not too dominant and thus leave room for many other flavours to express themselves." says Julia Nourney (Spirit Judge for IWSC and ADI) in her tasting note on the Founding Fathers of the Dresdner Whisky Manufaktur.
