The Craft Spirits Berlin Awards 2024 honours our HELLDOG with silver. This is the third time our HELLDOG has been honoured. After a gold medal at the International Spirit Challenge 2023 in London and four glasses (national top) for distillates in Gault Millau, our HELLDOG has now been honoured for the third time.
The Craft Spirits Berlin Awards are Europe's most important competition for handcrafted spirits. Fruit brandies, whisky, gin, mezcal, herbal spirits, liqueurs, vodka, rum, but also fortified wines such as vermouth, sherry and Madeira are judged. There are separate categories for fermentation products (sake, fruit wine, sparkling fruit wine), bottled cocktails and non-alcoholic spirit alternatives and soft drinks.
The submitted products are judged by an international panel of experts in a blind tasting. The jury is made up of recognised experts and sensory specialists. Each product is assessed on its own and by at least three jurors. Odour, taste, balance and typicity are among the criteria tested. The evaluation is based on a 100-point scheme. Our HELLDOG was awarded 87 out of 100 points and therefore silver.
We are very proud that our HELLDOG has already received its third award. This encourages us in our work and is also an honour for our brewers and distillers.
